DUE TO THE POLK SYMPOSIUM ON SPECIAL EDUCATION THAT IS SET FOR OCT. 26TH, THE TIME OUR HUGS CLASS ON SATURDAY, OCT. 26TH HAS MOVED TO 8:30am – 9:30am TO ALLOW OUR PARTICIPANTS TO ATTEND THE SYMPOSIUM BEGINNING AT 10:00am.

THIS IS ALSO OUR HALLOWEEN PARTY DAY. ANYONE IS WELCOME TO JOIN US FOR THE HALLOWEEN PARTY.

INFORMATION ON SYMPOSIUM AS FOLLOWS:

This year’s Symposium on Special Education is coming to Lake Region High on Saturday, Oct. 26.

A variety of district personnel, community agencies, and vendors will gather together to provide valuable workshop presentations and resources targeted to supporting the needs of students with disabilities and their families, caregivers, and teachers. This annual event will connect you with the information you need to make informed educational choices for your child during IEP team meetings, at parent teacher conferences, with his or her healthcare providers, and as your child transitions into life after high school.

Lunch will be provided and there will be door prizes, giveaways and free resources.
